On July 5, 2022, CATL donated 50 million yuan to the Red Cross Society of Ningde for the construction of local Center for Disease Control and Prevention, facilitating the development of the high-level biosafety laboratory and occupational disease prevention capabilities of Ningde, east China's Fujian Province.
